How desperate is it when you just keep doing something that you really don't want to do?
Some smokers will tell you it's the sheer bodily pain of giving up. Others it's the nagging cravings for just one more smoke. Most will admit they have tried and just can't seem to stop for good. Even though most also admit they know every cigarette lit up and smoked is one step closer to an early death. How about you?
I will help you to understand why this happens, and I will show you how easy it is to stop this destructive habit continuing to control your life.
As a smoker have you made your mind up its time to kill the habit before it kills you? Would you love to pack in smoking forever now? You can stop smoking permanently. No patch. No gum. No withdrawals. No need for massive willpower. Sound too good to be true? It's not. If you're genuinely committed to giving up, you can stop smoking easily with the help of hypnosis.
One thing that must be made clear from the outset:
Who wants you to give up? I can only help you if the answer to that question is 'Me'. You have to want to stop smoking to succeed. Once you have decided to stop smoking, however, hypnotherapy and NLP can help enormously in overcoming the habit and building your confidence and motivation. Research consistently shows that people who are assisted by a hypnotherapist are much more likely to succeed in stopping smoking than those who try to quit by willpower alone.
The good news is you don't have to be an especially good hypnotic subject to succeed . just motivated and open minded.
Most people only require one session. It is a specially extended session lasting from around one and a half to two hours and the cost is £85.
How Hypnotherapy can help
Hypnotherapy can help people to stop smoking for good, allowing them to return to their normal life, as a naturally healthier non-smoker, without any side effects, weight gain, or cravings. Hypnotherapy is a safe, relaxing and gentle approach to stopping smoking which has worked so successfully for so many people over the years and uses a combination of explanation, hypnosis, suggestion and relaxation. Following much development and research, this format has proved to be the most powerful and effective.
The physical addiction of nicotine is a very minor part of the problem and patches, gums etc can possibly sort this out. The mental side of smoking however is a very major part and that's where hypnosis comes in.
This is why, for most people, all the gums, patches and inhalers in the world won't do the job, because the problem is a mental one and lies within the inner closed part of our mind, known as the unconscious. We construct programs in our mind through habitual repetition. If we do the same thing often enough that thought pattern then gets imprinted in the mind. Then it goes onto 'automatic' and starts to control us!
So, the unconscious responds to circumstances around us. For example: You may find that whenever you put the kettle on, you 'automatically' reach for your packet of cigarettes, and without hardly realising it, you find yourself sat down with a cuppa in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
We can retrain our thought processes to respond differently and work on the positive benefits of being a non smoker. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to say:
I feel fitter and healthier. I am not breathless when I run up the stairs.
I have a wonderful sense of taste and smell. I really enjoy my food.
My breath is fresh, my hair and clothes smell clean.
I am there for the people who rely on me.
I am saving a considerable amount of money.
During hypnosis your unconscious mind will accept positive ideas like these, and having done that it will oppose any of the old smoking habits. They now have no role to play. It knows that you want these positive benefits and recognises that smoking can not help to achieve them. Your unconscious will be strengthened by positive suggestions and images which will install a deep sense of confidence in yourself as a healthy, smoke free person.
The single session
When we meet I will ask quite a few questions so that I have all the information I need to help you to stop smoking and tailor the session to you. We will work on showing you how to use self-hypnosis to create calmness and resourcefulness in any situation, and we will also enable your unconscious mind to learn to live as a non- smoker.
The purpose of the session is for me to HELP you to stop smoking. Hypnosis is not something I do TO you but something that you and only you can change. My role is to HELP you to make the change that you have chosen to do.
What Happens Once I Stop?
Once you stop smoking your health will improve more and more each day! Here are some of the health benefits you have to look forward to:
- 20 minutes: Your blood pressure and pulse will return to normal.
- 8 hours: The nicotine and carbon monoxide levels in your blood will have halved.
- 24 hours: The carbon monoxide is eliminated from your body and your lungs will resume their natural cleaning process, expelling the accumulated tar.
- 48 hours: All nicotine is eliminated from the body. Your senses of taste and smell will begin to improve.
- 72 hours: Your breathing becomes easier as the bronchial tubes begin to relax.
- 2-12 weeks: Your circulation improves, making physical exercise noticeably easier.
- 3-9 months: Lung function improves by about 10% as coughs and breathing problems disappear.
Counting the cost
Smoking cigarettes is a very expensive habit. Smokers often avoid thinking about exactly how much their habit forces them to sacrifice financially. During their lifetime, an average smoker, on twenty cigarettes a day will spend almost one hundred thousand pounds (£100,000) on their habit. That's richer by £1700 per year. That's a lot of cash for anyone to burn, comparable to a second mortgage. Ask yourself this question: "If someone gave me that much money right now, what would I spend it on?"
Just think what it would be like to be a
non smoker totally FREE from cigarettes.....
Are you ready to break free and stop smoking the most effective way? Would you love the chance to stop in just one session and re-gain you long lost health?
